After School Clubs For TEADS Students

By Dupé Aleru|April 1, 2011|7:52 a.m.

Temple Emanuel Academy Day School (TEADS) is offering top notch classes for elementary school students in its After School Enrichment Program.

“The program is designed to enhance the school’s commitment to encourage students in nurturing their own special gifts and the desire to provide 8opportunities for students to find new interests or hidden talents,” said Admissions Director Tanya Stawski.

This year’s spring the program, that is open to the community, has expanded. The program now includes several new clubs that will be offered in Hebrew and English. These bilingual classes come out of Temple Emanuel’s collaboration with the Israeli Cultural Center—Mercaz Tarbut Yisraeli also known as MATI. There is something for everyone to enjoy, as classes range from dance and cooking to sports and chess.

Classes for pre-k and kindergarten students are from 2:30-3:30 p.m. while the classes for students in first through sixth grade begin at 3:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m.

For more information on the classes and enrolling, please call the school office 310-288-3737ext. 244 or email orly@tebh.org.
